No matter how effective you have been at satisfying the needs of your
community in the past, your customers need new library services to meet
the challenges of their changing world! How can you become a genius at
anticipating these changes and helping build the better future for your
community?

The foundation of a successful library is leadership: risk, influence,
and marketing for the better future. Marketing is your most effective
tool, but it is more than promotion. It really means awareness and
response: Awareness of your customer and responding to their needs with
new services and promoting the library to the community. So where do you
start?

The morning program is about Everyday Leadership: The Foundations of the
Better Future. Topics include:
- How much time can you spend at the leadership level?
- What are the details of leadership inside and outside your library?
- What might need to change in order for you to be a more effective leader?

The afternoon program is about Marketing As If Your Library Depended On It.
- What questions can you ask to discover your customers' goals?
- How can you balance the needs of different kinds of customers?
- How can marketing be everybody's job?

Box lunches will be provided. Please select 1 Wrap and 2 Sides and
indicate your selections in the comments section of the registration form.
