You might want to checkout the supplement to the May 15, 2004 Library Journal.
Nationally renown video guy Jim Scholtz contributed an article comparing disc repair machines, "To Repair or Not to Repair".
We're currently using the basic $10 CD cleaner and the $60 motorized Skip Dr.
