Full-time Adult Services Librarian:  Seeking Adult Services Librarian to =
provide general reference and reader's service to the public. ALA =
accredited MLS/MLIS required. Strong interpersonal skills and training =
in all aspects of reference service required. Experience using =
electronic reference databases required. Duties also include assigned =
collection development and maintenance tasks and public programming. =
Assigned to Adult Services for 40 hr/wk at $13.15/hr + commensurate with =
experience. Excellent benefit package. Evenings and weekends regularly =
scheduled. Reports to Head of Adult Services. Defiance Public Library =
system has a main library and 2 branches with holdings of 120,000. =
Reference desk is staffed by a full-time Dept. Head and 1 full-time and =
3 part-time librarians and associates serving the information needs of a =
population of 40,000. Patrons from surrounding counties and two local =
colleges also access the collections and services of the public library. =
