--Join reference colleagues in exploring and learning the changing ways of
providing quality reference service in your library. We'll review trends,
resources and strategies for application at work! Also included will be the
reference interview and a review of basic reference skills still needed
every day as well as a looking at new resources, strategies for using them,
trends, how-to keep current, and practical application in current settings.
Finally, we will explore The Deep Web. This workshop will include hands-on
exercises, loads of discussion and lots of take-home materials.
Prerequisite: Participants should be familiar with the Internet.
