Dear colleagues,
I would like to know from libraries of similar size, how much =
general liability insurance you carry and whether you have increased it =
recently. We have carried $1,000,000 for years and our insurance agent =
is recommending that we increase it to $2,000,000. I haven't found any =
solid information out there, such as average amount of claims paid for =
our industry, so I'm trying the "asking around" route.
Wright Library has 23.000 registered borrowers, a building of just over =
23,000 sq. ft., and a staff of about 50.
