CAMLS JOINS WWW.CEOHIO.ORG.

Warren, Ohio-August 1, 2005, 1:00 p.m. - Workshops and programs from
CAMLS (Cleveland Area Metropolitan Library System) were added to the
CEOHIO system as of August 1 allowing members of Ohio's library
community to visit a single website to review programs from many of the
Regional Library Systems, OLC and OHIONET. =20

NOLA Regional Library system unveiled the new Ohio Continuing Education
Calendar in September 2003.  Thanks to a grant from the federal
Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), awarded by the State
Library of Ohio, this project was developed in cooperation with Ohio's
seven Regional Library Systems and the Ohio Library Council.

With a large number of organizations offering continuing education to
the Ohio library community, a centralized CE calendar system has been
created to assist library staff members in their search for appropriate
continuing education. This calendar can be found at www.ceohio.org

Continuing education opportunities are available on a state and local
level to offer support to both new and experienced library personnel.
The database can be searched by region, date, topic, or location.  This
program collects data from all participating locations and updates
daily. =20

The NOLA Regional Library System is a multitype library agency that
coordinates and facilitates the development of services of its member
libraries for all of their constituents. NOLA is a membership-driven
organization that seeks to strengthen library services and to promote
the continued improvement of libraries in Ohio.=20
