Do you know a staff person you would like to recognize for their
outstanding work performance and attitude.  Is there a librarian whose
support of support staff deserves an award?  Now is your chance to
recognize those people!  The ALAO-SSIG is looking for nominees for SSIG
Support Staff Award of Excellence and the SSIG Award of Appreciation.
You can nominate yourself or someone you know by sending an essay of no
more than 500 words to:

Please provide both the nominee's name and the nominator's name along
with their contact information (phone number, address and email
address), their institutions, length of service and title.
Persons nominating self must provide one reference.
All nominees must be employed in the state of Ohio.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 16, 2005

Winning nominations will automatically be submitted to COLT and Library 
Journal for their outstanding awards competitions.
