[Paris Head]

The Germantown Public Library has an opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic individual to become the next Head of Youth Services.  Duties include public service, collection development, programming, and managing the day-to-day functions of the Children's Department, as well as work and play well with others.  An  MLS from an accredited ALA program is preferred, however, applicants with a bachelors degree in education or a related field and experience working with children/youth will be considered.  Applicants must have proven ability in storytelling and children's programming, computer skills, and the ability to communicate clearly, listen, understand, speak, and write effectively.
