      Description

The web is no longer just a conduit for one-way communication. It is
evolving into a platform for collaboration and building communities.
Social tools are the building blocks of the Web 2.0 and libraries are
already using them to reach out to patrons.

Join us for a demonstration and discussion about blogs, RSS, wikis,
podcasting, instant messaging, and other social tools that your patrons
are already using. Glen will show many examples of libraries already
using these technologies to interact with patrons via the Web.
