IFCPP Regional CIPM & CIPS Certification Workshops
April 5, 2005 at Dayton, Ohio
The International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection and the Dayton
Art Institute will be sponsoring 2 important certification workshops on
April 5, 2005. These full-day workshops will allow qualified applicants to
attend course work and test for the Certified Institutional Protection
Manager (CIPM) and Certified Institutional Protection Specialist/Supervisor
(CIPS) designations.
CIPM and CIPS certification designates those professionals working in, or
directly responsible for the protection of a cultural facility or public
institution. This category includes administrators, facilities managers,
registrars, curators, proprietary or contract security
managers/officers/supervisors, or other staff with additional duties in
facility protection. Workshop program content includes the latest
information on emergency preparedness, crisis management, violence
prevention, fire protection, business continuity planning,
screening/hiring/firing/training, protection of valuable collections, public
relations and more.
Courses are presented by a highly skilled team of expert instructors. These
training workshops are the only source of certification training for
professionals working in the cultural property community. We want YOU to
participate in raising the level of professionalism with regard to
institutional protection.
Contact IFCPP at 800-257-6717 for registration or additional information.
