The MORE project is making some changes. In an effort to increase
communication, I wanted to post a message on the oplin listserv. These
changes were made to concentrate resources and efforts on improving
statewide resource sharing. If you have any questions regarding this
change, feel free to contact me via email.
What's Changing
* System problems will no longer be reported to Angela Thomas, MORE
Project Manager or the OPLIN helpdesk. They will be reported directly to
Fretwell Downing. It is highly recommended that one person be designated to
report system problems to Fretwell Downing. System problems can be reported
via phone or through the web at:
1-866-939-6446 or
http://more.support.fdusa.com <http://more.support.fdusa.com/>
1. User = more
2. Password = more4ohio
* Your firewalls will need to be open to the IPs on Fretwell Downing's
system. This will allow the MORE system to communicate with your server. If
you do not have the letter from Angela Thomas that has the IP numbers,
please contact her via e-mail at athomas@sloma.state.oh.us
<mailto:athomas@sloma.state.oh.us>
* The MORE and Delivery Information Web Site has changed from:
www.moreforohio.org <http://www.moreforohio.com/> to:
http://winslo.state.oh.us/more/moreindex.html <http://winslo.state.oh.us/>
What's Not Changing
* The MORE patron and Staff URL will remain the same. Your
bookmarks/favorites will not need to change.
* The way you and your patron sign onto the MORE system will remain
the same.
* All new and existing configuration changes will still be reported to
Angela Thomas. Configuration changes include:
* Adding any new sites in more
* Adding new branches or schools
* Changes to physical addresses
* Changes to IPs and/or Ports
* The way you process requests in MORE will remain the same until the
next upgrade and the MORE user group will remain intact with all projects
proceeding as planned.
* All training will still be conducted and arranged through Angela
Thomas.
