Assessing Your Library's Social Network

Sharing our knowledge and expertise with our work colleagues isn't just a
good idea - it's a cultural and fiscal necessity. Saying that collaboration
is important and making sure it can happen don't always occur together. In
this workshop, Dr. Mary Stansbury will discuss features of collaborative
work along with both high-tech and low-tech tools that can help foster
effective collaboration. Learn how to identify and develop your library's
social network and be able to recognize situations that could benefit from a
stronger social network.

Presenter:

Mary Stansbury, PhD is an Associate Professor in the School of Library &
Information Science at Kent State University.
