[OPLINLIST] Internet filters & jump drive policies

      Our library has just purchased new computers which enable patrons to use "jump drives," and we plan to amend our current policy to reflect that fact.  Until now we have not permitted patrons to save or download files onto diskettes, yet that is probably just what they will want to do with their jump drives.   Could you share your policies with us if they address this situation?   Also, what security measures, if any, have you taken to limit potential viruses, etc. from the jump drives?
     Also, we are investigating purchase of internet filters for the first time.   If you have had especially positive or negative experiences with any of the commercial products available, we would appreciate your sharing that information with us.
