Recorded Books artist to appear at Delaware Library
Narrates books by Cornwell, Evanovich among others
Delaware, Ohio 43015 April 25, 2006-C.J. Critt, acclaimed narrator for
Recorded Books will appear at the Delaware County District Library on
Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the library's community room.
The program is part of the library's 100th anniversary celebration.
An actress, director, poet, playwright and performance artist, C.J.
Critt has won critical acclaim for her accomplishments in a broad range
of the arts.  She has appeared on Broadway stages, local radio programs,
and in national television commercials.  Her creation, "Words Aloud!"
won a Cable Ace Award.  
Listeners know Critt by her smooth, polished voice and spirited
performances, including giving voice to Stephanie Plum, Joe Morelli,
Ranger and others in New York Times best selling author Janet
Evanovich's novels, including Twelve Sharp, Eleven on Top, and Ten Big
Ones.
Critt has also narrated novels written by Patricia Cornwell, Barbara
Kingsolver, Lois Lowry, Rosellen Brown, Delia Ephron, Linda Barnes, and
Nancy Taylor Rosenberg.  
Currently a staff writer and in-house talent coach at ABC/Radio Disney,
she is the author of EggStory, the host of the Write Stuff creative
workshop and is developing an original musical, "The Black Dahlia."
Critt's program will include a discussion about the process, technique
and challenges of recording a novel.  She will also perform several
readings during the evening.
The program is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
