Due to an internal promotion, the Greene County Public Library is seeking a Head of Reference for its Xenia Community Library.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:  This full-time position manages all aspects of the Xenia Reference Department and serves as a training specialist for reference services.  Responsibilities include supervising staff; coordinating adult reference projects; and participating in the selection of materials and developing community library's collections. REQUIREMENTS:  Master of Library Science from an ALA-accredited program required.  Proven ability in reference services. Two years supervisory experience preferred.  Ability to communicate clearly; listen, understand, speak, and write effectively.  

STARTING SALARY:  $40,476.80 plus excellent benefits
