The Muskingum County Library System is a progressive goal oriented
public library located in the heart of Southeastern Ohio.  Located just
one hour east of the capital city of Columbus, Muskingum County enjoys
easy access to outdoor recreation, hosts several arts and cultural
organizations and is home to three collegiate campuses.  It is in this
setting that the successful candidate for the Librarian I, Adult/YA
Services position would work.  This individual would be a community
oriented professional with a strong commitment to public service.
Responsibilities include: Adult/YA reference services, materials
selection and collection development, and programming. Qualifications:
ALA Accredited MLS with interest in public libraries.  Salary range:  $
34,382.42 - 47,548.80.  Benefits: Library pays employee share of
retirement which is 9% of salary ($3,094.41 - $4,279.39); health and
life insurance, 20 days vacation, 15 days sick leave, 4 personal days,
usual holidays and tuition reimbursement.  Selection process will begin
