We have a new display case. One use of it that has been discussed here and
that I have seen in other locations is the display of personal collections
of items. I am looking now for sample policies that would cover such a
situation. I have tried the sample policies at the State Library. For
example, I would think that a library would want a policy that would allow
for display of doll or model car collections, say, but not collections of
tools of torture or suggestive items. I would think that we would want a
policy that would require the library held harmless in the event of acts of
God, or other disasters. Etc, etc, etc. Does any library have such a policy
and/or release form? If so, and you are willing to share, please send them
to: Bob Nichols, Brown County Public Library, 200 W. Grant Ave, Georgetown
OH. We are on Cargo, BCG. Thank you.
