Patent Professional Day: Basic Training
<http://www.swonlibraries.org/viewevent?id=903>
Representatives from the US Patent & Trademark office will offer a
2-hour basic training session on patent & trademark basics. They will
also offer instruction in using the Patent & Trademark Office's website
<http://www.uspto.gov> to conduct patent and trademark searches. The
program is free of charge and open to any local librarians. Librarians
who deal with business questions are especially encouraged to attend.
This event is part of a much larger 3-day Inventor Fest
<http://www.cincinnatilibrary.org/inventorfest/2006/>, bringing
inventors, experts, and the curious-minded together for free!
