HELLO EVERYONE, 

Jan Haines, my colleague here at the State Library, alerted me to the following program to highlight diversity and specifically, Mexican heritage. 

The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Institute for Mexicans Abroad invite children between 7 and 11 years old, living abroad, to participate in the 11th "Éste es mi México" Children's Drawing Contest. 

The purpose of the contest is to motivate children from all over the world to express what Mexico means to them: its history, culture, landscapes, people, and holidays.
