[OPLINLIST] Teen Summer Reading

The Northeast Ohio Regional Library System has EIGHT spots left for its
Teen Learning Group meeting on March 1 to be held at Orrville Library
from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
   
Though this is not a workshop, we do have several nationally known
speakers who will be sharing ideas on Teen Summer Reading Programs. This
learning group meeting is being open to other librarians who serve teens
in the state of Ohio. 
   
Please note that during several hours of this group meeting there is
sharing time, and everyone is invited to bring their own
ideas/experiences to share. 
   
  Here are speakers and topics: 
   
  Rollie Welch --- Summer Reading at Urban Libraries 
   
  Christina Getrost & Mary Balog --- Battle of the Books Programs 
   
  Rose Mary Honnold --- Using the Statewide Theme 
   
  Linda Uhler --- Summer Reading at Rural/Smaller Library Systems 
   
  The above will be followed by Sharing Time.
