SFX is the link server provided from Ex Libris that delivers powerful
linking services in the scholarly information environment. SFX is also a
key component in the management of electronic resources in a library.
This full-day hands-on workshop is provided by Ex Libris. It is designed
to enhance beginning users' skills. Topics will include a brief
overview, detailed discussions of KnowledgeBase management, Targets,
Sources, SFX file structure, Menu Customization introduction and
configuration files and Statistics. This training session is designed
for library staff who never received SFX training. The target audience
are those responsible for maintaining the SFX KnowledgeBase, Systems
Managers, and Interface Managers. Please take a moment to review the
