Overview

This hands-on workshop explores the information treasures published 
online by the U.S. Federal government through the Government Printing 
Office and specific agencies and branches of the government.  We will 
cover the best sites to begin researching for government information 
in general and specifically for business, healthcare, genealogy, 
history, current government, legal, regulatory, taxes, retirement, 
insurance, and state and local government information.

Audience

This workshop is intended for librarians and other researchers who 
want to be able to quickly and efficiently find current, accurate, 
and complete information published by the U.S. Federal Government on 
the Web.

Participants should know how to use e-mail and a current standard Web 
Browser, e.g.,Mozilla/Firebird, Netscape 7.0 or IE 5.5 or higher is 
preferred.
