I have a gentleman who read (1970-1972) a juvenile book when he was young.
He thought the title was "The Boy Who Fell From the Sky", but cannot
remember the author.  As a high schooler, he saw a high school play that was
based on the story.

Here's his recollections about the story:  A young boy lived in the sky
(heaven/utopia). There was a tear in the sky, the boy fell and landed on
earth.  He was found by a farm couple.  The boy was possibly telepathic or a
higher life form.  The surrounding community pressured the couple because of
the boy.  The boy takes the couple back with him once he is able to make
contact with his community.
