[OPLINLIST] No 3M hubs - what to do now?

Hi, everyone.

I spoke to our 3M sales rep the other day and he confirmed that they are
no longer making the hubs for double-sided DVDs.  They seem to be out of
stock on them as well.  And no replacement product has been announced, and
there may not be one.

The sales rep suggested that we start putting security on the cases, using
book-length strips cut in two.  Since locking cases or behind-the-desk
security are impractical here for a variety of reasons, that's what we
will do if no one has a better idea.

So...DOES anyone have another suggestion?
