[OPLINLIST] This Just In...From the State Library: Rural Sustainability Workshops...One Final Round

The State Library has scheduled one final round of six...count 'em six Rural Sustainability Workshops.
This go 'round they are half day workshops designed to give library staff assistance in planning and developing strategies to maintain public access computing in their local library.
Well cover such areas as technology maintenance and planning, outreach, funding, training support, promotion and collaboration. Plus, pariticipants will learn about the resources, information network and learning opportunities available to them on WebJunction.
Come prepared for lots of hands-on work and plenty of discussion.
*Audience*
This workshop will focus on the issues and challenges facing the public library staff. While it is directed at library managers, this session is open to all levels of library staff.
