message below about a stuffed toy at Kohl's Department stores that fits
with this summer's reading program. See below.

With apologies to Rhonda for duplicating some of the info she shared
with us on the CSLP list, here is a little more about the Ike LaRue
items at Kohl's:

 

Ike LaRue, Mark Teague's canine hero of this year's summer reading

program, is available as an incredibly soft stuffed toy at Kohl's
department stores

for only $5.  (He even comes with an eponymous heart-shaped dog tag.)

Copies of Dear Mrs. La Rue: Letters from the Investigation

and Dear Mrs. La Rue: Letters from Obedience School, are also $5

each.    According to Kohl's, all net profits "will be donated to

support health and educational opportunities for children nationwide."
