Living History through Story, Humor and Song
Learn Ohio History through the eyes of "Wolf Stands on Two Feet", a white
man raised by Indians in the late 1700's.
Mr. Wolf engages audiences with stories of his experiences in Ohio from the
1800's.
He will speak about:
* How Ohio became a state
* Early schools
* The Underground Railroad
* Life in Ohio 200 years ago
This interactive program utilizes many original artifacts and encourages
questions and comments throughout the presentation.
* * * * * *
Other programs offered:
* Johnny Appleseed, folk hero and naturalist responsible for many of
Ohio's apple orchards.
* Miami and Erie Canal Boat Captain, presenting a view of 1880's life
on the canal systems of Ohio.
* John Muir, original pioneer of conservation, sharing beautiful slides
of Yosemite National Park.
* Henry David Thoreau, philosopher and naturalist, known for his
experiences at Walden Pond and his views of simpler, gentler times.
