[OPLINLIST] Planned Network Outages (October 7)

AT&T has informed OPLIN that the OPLIN network will 
experience two planned outages this Sunday (October 
7th).  These outages should be very brief.  Any T1 or 
Ethernet connection coming back to the State of Ohio 
Computer Center will be affected.

The outages are necessary due to an unrelated power 
infrastructure upgrade happening at the SOCC, which in 
turn is forcing AT&T to disconnect and reconnect the 
hardware that currently carries these connections into 
a new power source. Hardware that supports T3 lines and 
the OPLIN core routers will be unaffected, due to their 
level of redundancy.
