Chambers of Commerce, corporations and other organizations to help them
nurture their most valuable resource - their employees.
Linda's ability to combine humor and real-life experience with her knowledge
of people enables her to relate to her audience in a unique way. With more
than twenty years of hands-on management in positions such as Director of
Purchasing, Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Customer
Relations, she has developed a keen insight into what works in the real
world. Linda's experience as a national trainer with Dun & Bradstreet has
also expanded her ability to communicate effectively.
Participants leave Linda's workshops with the tools they need to help them
enjoy life more, both personally and professionally.
Program Description:
Supervising people can be one of the toughest parts of your job...but it
doesn't have to be! In this workshop, you'll learn the 14 key
characteristics of a top-notch supervisor - and whether or not you have
those characteristics. Discover how to hire the right people to begin with -
and how to create a motivating environment so they want to stay. You'll find
18 "low- or no-money" motivators - and yes, they do exist! You'll also
discover the one thing that can kill motivation in your workplace. Uncover 7
ways to make sure the praise you give actually works and determine how to
give constructive feedback and effective reprimands. The bonus section at
the end will give you invaluable secrets of great supervisors, as well as
tips on what to include in your "new hire welcome kit." This intensive
workshop will be packed full of practical, useful tips - don't miss it!
Double your staff training AND save money! Anyone interested in also
attending the morning training session, "The Lost Art of Customer Service"
should return to the main workshop menu and register under "Full Day Staff
