The Greene County Public Library is seeking a full-time Head of Youth
Services for the Xenia Community Library.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Duties include customer service, collection
development, programming, and managing the day-to-day functions of the

REQUIREMENTS:  MLS from an accredited ALA program.  Two years
supervisory experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of professional
library science and administration as evidenced in proven ability to
utilize developmentally appropriate practices in services and programs
for youth ages 0 - 17. This includes storytelling, early literacy
programs and services, and collection development. Proven knowledge of
microcomputer applications for libraries required.  Ability to
communicate clearly; listens, understands, speaks, and writes
effectively.

 

STARTING SALARY:  $42,432.00 annually plus excellent benefits
