Toshiba officially threw in the towel today.  They are no longer
producing HD DVD players.   You can read about it here:

Blu-ray is the way to go!

For those interested - looks like Walmart is jumping on the Blu-ray only
band wagon.  I'd say this would be another big blow to Toshiba's HD-DVD.
