Greetings!

 

There is still time for you or a fellow staff member to register for
OHIONET's workshop, Getting a Second Life: An Introduction to the Metaverse
for Libraries! What is Second Life, and how does it relate to libraries?
What are libraries already doing in this virtual world (and should mine be
there, too)? What's involved in getting involved? Join OPLIN's Laura Solomon
as she answers these questions and more! Come prepared to toss aside
preconceived ideas and assumptions while you get answers to these questions
and learn about the world's most popular online virtual environment. This
session will include some hands-on exploration of some areas of Second Life.

 

When: Tuesday, July 8th, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Where: OHIONET

Cost: $50 (members); $70 (non-members)
