Gloria we have done it both ways, as a tech demo with a piece of
equipment owned by the library or a staff member, and with the Geek
Squad (for example) from Best Buy.

Subject: [OPLINLIST] Technology Petting Zoo
We have heard that other libraries have hosted a "technology petting
zoo"
where someone brings in a variety of electronic toys (cell phones,
i-pods,
etc) to the library and patrons can look at them and ask questions.
Has anyone done this? Did you ask a company or store to present the
program?
We are very interested in doing something like this but would like to
hear
from other libraries that have hosted a similar program.
Thank you!!!
