The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is seeking an innovative, 
self-starting, and enthusiastic librarian to fill the role of 
Extension & Technical Services Manager and to take an active role on 
the library system's management team.

Position:
Extension & Technical Services Manager

$33,280

Job Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director, and as part of the system's 
management team, this person will supervise four branch managers, 
oversee the operations in those branches, oversee the system's 
technical service and cargo staffs, coordinate system-wide marketing 
and promotions, maintain liaisons with community and library groups, 
coordinate the system's author series, facilitate a monthly book 
discussion group, and provide occasional reference desk coverage.

Job Requirements:
* Master's Degree from an ALA accredited library school
* Ability to supervise others effectively
* Knowledge of library trends
* Knowledge of marketing principles
* Knowledge of project management principles
* Knowledge of popular adult fiction and audiovisual titles
* Ability to communicate in writing and verbally
* Ability to solve problems and innovate
