Speaker: 
Bill Young. is an advocate of "life-long" learning and education. He holds a
Masters of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of
Management of DeVry University, a PhD in Management and from Walden
University, and currently teaches Leadership & Organizational Behavior,
Managing Change, and Public Relations at Indiana Wesleyan University and the
University of Phoenix.

Bill has published two books, The Streetwise Guide To Growing Your Business
and The Emotional Aspects of Change: What Every Manager Must Know. 

	

Program Description:
This power-packed workshop was created after years of working with
libraries, carefully addressing their most common challenges. The goal is to
become a library that positively impacts its employees, customers, and
community at large. 

This program was designed to help libraries deal with the following
challenges:
-Main libraries and branches having communication problems; branches
following their own sets of rules; 

-Library is "compartmentalized" with the existence of segregate cliques and
groups; 

-The slightest mention of change ignites behavior ranging from apathy to
insurrection; 

-Teams and groups are not as cohesive as they should be; 

-Criticism is a problem and overall morale is somewhat low.


If any of these example sound familiar, this is a training program that will
help these challenges immensely. All registrants will be automatically
entered into a drawing for a sixty dollar credit certificate good towards
future CE offerings by SERLS!


Meals: No meal is included in this workshop. Lunch is on your own.
