The State Library of Ohio is pleased to make available for you and your
patrons a tool for helping job seekers in your library. The Ohio
Department of Development has created a PowerPoint presentation offering
step-by-step instructions on how to register and post a resume on
OhioMeansJobs.com <https://ohiomeansjobs.com/omj/> , a place for Ohioans
to post their resumes and search jobs.
You can download this presentation and make it available to your patrons
on public access computers. It is located on our Helping Job Seekers
<http://oh.webjunction.org/ohlibservjobs> section of WebJunction Ohio
at http://oh.webjunction.org/ohgovagencies/articles/content/46135861
Your patrons can also use these LearningExpress
<http://www.learningexpresslibrary.com/> courses for help with the job
search:
Creating a Great Resume
Creating Great Cover Letters
Interview Tips to Get the Job You Want
Determining What You Want from Your Career
Job Search & Networking Skills
Success on the Job
We encourage you to visit the Helping Job Seekers
<http://oh.webjunction.org/ohlibservjobs> section of WebJunction Ohio
and share your experiences and best practices on helping patrons search
for employment. You can do this by uploading your own documents as well
as by participating in discussions.
