Dianna,
We manage our own website too and just started using Expression Web.  We upgraded from Microsoft Frontpage as Frontpage was defunct after the 2003 edition.  

At first I found Expression harder to use than Frontpage, but if you have used Frontpage, you will get the hang of Expression.  Expression has many more "bells and whistles."  There are many features that we probably will never use.

Knowledge of using CSS (Cascading style sheets) is a big help - After I learned how these work, Expression was easier to use.

We purchased the book "Expression Web Plain & Simple" by Katherine Murray and it was a big help.

I do not know about its compatibility with your OPLIN host.
