[OPLINLIST] Looking for two Children's Books

We are looking for two children's books.

The first patron is looking for a children's book she read when she 
was a child - about 20-30 years ago.  She doesn't remember the name 
or author.  This is what she remembers:

A young boy feeds spaghetti and other food that is part of his "body" 
to monsters.  The spaghetti is his brain, etc.  The child's name may 
be Jed or Ned or Jeb.

The second patron is looking for a children's book that is about a 
family of bears that live in a junk yard.
