[OPLINLIST] Death benefits

Hello,

Do any libraries have policies regarding death benefits for employees 
who die while in active service?  Specifically, I am wondering if other 
libraries disburse accrued vacation and/or compensatory time to 
surviving family members.  If so, how is the disbursement given?  Do the 
"assets" of the employee (accrued vacation/comp time) become part of the 
employee's estate?
