Kent State University Ashtabula Campus is seeking qualified applicants for a 12 month faculty librarian position to provide direction, supervision, and operational support for library collection management and circulation desk activities including reference, circulation, and interlibrary loan.  The successful candidate will provide basic library orientation and instructional sessions and may teach an undergraduate university orientation course. This position will work closely with the library and academic support services staff to evaluate current services as well as recommend, design and implement new services for the campus community.  This position is responsible for maintaining and developing content for the library's webpage. This position requires evening work hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Library Science from an American Libraries Association accredited school Minimum three years experience in an academic library or relevant environment

Teaching experience

Knowledge and experience in reference services

Demonstrated experience web site design and development

Supervisory experience, particularly in public services
