Greetings!

Time is running out for you or a fellow staff member to register for
OHIONET's ONLINE workshop: Bailout! Using EDGAR and FRASER for Economic
Data. No, it's not a sitcom! FRASER-part of the Federal Reserve-and
EDGAR-part of the Securities and Exchange Commission-are databases that are
freely available and deal exclusively in economic history, facts, and
figures! In this crazy, upside-down economy, your patrons are learning and
needing this very information! Help them, help yourself! In this class we
will jump right in and explain in detail the ins-and-outs of the financial
data found here, as well as best practices on using what you find. Wrapping
up with a class project, you will be the financial wizard for your staff
when you get back to work!

This would be a great workshop for reference staff, or any library worker
who would like to brush up on his/her economic reference skills!

When: Wednesday, May 13th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Cost: $45 (members); $65 (non-members)
