The Tipp City Public Library is seeking applicants for a Public Services
Manager.

This full-time position supervises clerks and shelvers. Bachelor’s degree
from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
required.  Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Starting salary
$27,000.

Job duties:

Creates, maintains, and revises weekly staff schedules and daily desk
schedules.

Supervises the shelving of library materials and shelfreading.

Supervises all aspects of Inter-Library Loan, including processing
requests, processing incoming and returned materials, and reporting
statistics.

Supervises all aspects of resource sharing through SEO consortium.

Works Circulation desk and assists patrons in using online catalog.

Develops, plans, and implements outreach programs to community groups.

Supervises delivery and retrieval of materials to patrons in a variety of
settings, including retirement communities, private homes, child care
centers, and schools. Delivers materials and services.

Presents information about library services and programs to individuals
and groups.
