Mariemont School District is starting the process of planning and 
building new school buildings. As part of the planning process, they 
have gathered together students, teachers, administrators and community 
members to envision the library of the future. The process is called 
"Creating the Library for the 21st Century". I have been asked to be a 
part of the Learning Team, as a representative of the library community 
and I would like your help in gathering more information for this process.

What does a 21st century school library look like?
How do you design for users 10, 20, 50 years out? How do you make the 
library "modular" and flexible? Who will use the space and how? What 
types of spaces are needed?

Join the SWON Libraries staff and your fellow members and guests to 
discuss this important issue. All ideas are welcome.

Please log onto the chat session 5 minutes prior to the start of the 
moderated discussion. The URL for the chat and the instructions for 
participating will be sent to you in advance of the session. This is a 
TYPED chat--so you only need a standard computer and internet connection 
to participate.

This is also a safe way to become familiar with the chat format for
