genealogy questions.  Every aspect of American history is included in
the Serial Set.  Genealogists use the Serial Set to locate land patents,
pension records, compensation claims, military registers and much more.
Very detailed information is included in 19th century and earlier
federal publications. 

 

The 45 minute PowerPoint presentation will show you where to locate the
LexisNexis Serial Set Digital Collection at the State Library web site
and introduce you to the wealth of historical and social information
available. Additional time will be available to do some hands on
searching. 

 

Online access to the digital Serial Set is available free to all Ohio
residents who have a State Library of Ohio card.
