[OPLINLIST] Minerva Public Library seeks Youth Services Manager

Minerva Public Library seeks a Youth Services Department Manager to succeed
a manager retiring in June.  Candidates should be energetic, innovative, and
forward-thinking, and demonstrate successful experience in providing library
services to children; demonstrated successful experience providing services
to teen library patrons is a definite plus.  A Bachelors degree in a related
field is required, a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from
an ALA accredited program is preferred.  Three years of library work
experience, including a year of supervisory experience is expected.  The
salary range for this position starts at 15 dollars an hour.

Note that although the job description states that this is a 40 hour a week
position, all library staff are working reduced hours in 2010, and the
current work week for this position is 36 hours.
