[OPLINLIST] Position Opening-Young Adult Specialist

The Tipp City Public Library is seeking applicants for the position of
Young Adult Specialist.  This position is 24 hours per week and includes
nights and weekends.  Starting pay is $11.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops, plans, and implements programs for teens and young adults,
both in the library and in the community.
• Assists in selection and maintenance of young adult materials
collection.
• Creates and maintain displays.
• Assists at the circulation desk.
• Assists patrons in using online catalog. Answers reference questions.
Provides reader's advisory.

Knowledge of the materials, services, and trends in library services to
teens and young adults is required.
