[OPLINLIST] Reminder: 2011 Northern Ohio Technical Services Librarians (NOTSL) Scholarships-Call for applicants

Applications for the 2011 Northern Ohio Technical Services Librarians
(NOTSL) Scholarships are now being accepted.  DEADLINE: December 6,
2010.

 

Applicants must either be currently working in an Ohio library in a
professional or support position in a technical services area, or be
students (residing or studying in Ohio) currently taking coursework in
librarianship.  The content of the proposed educational activity must
relate to technical services topics which may include, cataloging,
serials, acquisitions, preservation, processing, or management of
technical services.  Typically funded activities can include costs for
workshops, conferences, coursework, professional meetings, or research,
however, not for training required by an employer.   Awards can range
from $100 to $500.  Totals award are usually between $1,000 and $1,500.
