Building Services Manager – Fairfield County District Library is seeking to fill the position of Building Services Manger.  The manager is responsible for the physical condition of the buildings, grounds and equipment of the main library, library annex and four branches. Under the general direction of the Library Director and in accordance with library policies and Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, directs the efficient operation of maintenance, grounds and cleaning including the training and supervision of maintenance staff.   The Manager will also evaluate the effectiveness of all capital outlay for maintenance and repair and security operation programs.  Position requires a high school diploma and five or more years experience in building maintenance with at least three years of experience in supervision and facilities management in industrial or commercial area and a minimum of two years as a supervisor in construction or project management.  A certification in HVAC is desirable. Minimum of two years technical school education preferred.  Salary begins at $37,030.50 plus benefits.
