[OPLINLIST] E-Rate Update -- FY2011 Form 471 Application Filing Window

The Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) sent out a notice yesterday
stating that the opening and closing dates for the FY2011 filing window
have not yet been established. However, for planning purposes, SLD noted
that they expect the FY2011 filing window to open in early January 2011.
And, that the window will remain open for about the same number of days
as in the past, which means that the window is expected to close in
mid-March 2011. SLD will provide updates as more information becomes
available. 

 

Remember, there is still time to sign up for the E-Rate workshops hosted
by the State Library and OPLIN and conducted by Lorrie Germann, eTech
Ohio/State E-Rate Coordinator.  The Form 470 workshop will be held
November 8, 2010 and the Form 471 workshop will be held December 16,
2010.  Workshops will be videoconferenced to various locations across
