We use UAN; we have 19 employees and an annual budget, $1.3 million. I
don't think you can beat the cost which is based on your general fund
budget. Currently it is a one-user system, but the new release in 2012
will be a multi-user system. So, if your treasurer duties are a "one
person does it all," UAN is great. They have very good support services
and training available, too. We converted to UAN about 4 years ago,
leaving CMI which at that time cost about $10,000/yr. UAN in 2010 will
cost us under $2800, which includes the hardware, software, updates and
training. The hardware is "leased" but UAN turns it over to the
institution. The two newest workstations in our library are the current
UAN station and the former one which was replaced after less than 3 years.
